Depressed? Get De-Stressed

More often than not, starting an exercise program often ends in a depressing result - none. One of key reasons people say that they stop exercising or are unsuccessful in trying to make a change is because of stress.

Too much work related stress, no time to squeeze the exercise into your regular routine and the end result, depression and more weight gain and disappointment with yourself.

It doesn’t have to be that way this time.  Before you allow yourself to get all coiled up in a stress furball, try some de-stress activities.  If you have never given it a chance, this would be a great time to try yoga or tai chi.  Even if it is only a once a week class, you can learn enough to practice on your own, get rid of some stress and keep your exercise routine alive.

Relaxation techniques like these, once they are learned, can give you a lifetime of relief from the normal daily stress we all face.  Do something nice for yourself.  Remember, I did not say try to do something nice for yourself.  There is no try.  There is do and there is do not.  If you really want something badly enough you will do it.
