Rest for the Weary
Me and my daughter, Jess, who writes bookpublishing.today.com.
One the key elements of a good fitness regimen has to be plenty of rest. That means you get a minimum of seven to eight hours of sleep every night and maybe a little extra on the weekend.
Yes, there are some people who naturally cannot sleep more than six hours per night and nothing they do or take seems to make a difference. These people are freaks. Seriously, they are the exception to the norm.
Sleep not only replenishes your mind and body, it helps your skin tone stay supple and allows your cellular growth to occur at a greater rate than when you are awake and running around.
Sleep can really help your disposition too. You must know this if you have ever spent a sleepless night only to find that the next day, nothing seems right with the world anymore.
So get some zzzzz’s and do it as often as you can. A great habit that helped me when I was working full time and ran out of steam by Tuesday, go to bed real early on Sunday night if you start your work week on Monday. Good night.
