OCD For You and Me

I had a friend who would have been forced to stay up all night if she thought there might be forks turned the wrong way down in the silverware drawer.  She might actually have nightmares if - God forbid - one of  those aberrant forks moved on over to hang with the spoons, or worse yet, the knives.

Now I do joke around about OCD from time to time, but I really would not want to be like that and to experience so much anxiety over such an inconsequential event.  The truth is, we are all subject to quirks and oddities, myself included.

In years long gone by, I was exhibited many of the signs of being a workaholic.  Now I am cured.  There is nothing quite like the real threat of dying to cure you of worrying about inconsequential stuff, like working too much and not appreciating life and all the wonders it has to offer.

So take a minute to stop and taste the dandelion greens once in a while.  Hell, you can use a fork or a spoon.  It don’t matter to me one way or the other.
