Family Values and Valuing Family
I count myself among the fortunate few who have a strong family support system. We are a small family, with just my two grown children, Stephen and Jessica, who both are successful career people with great family values.
The nice thing about our family is that we spend our vacation time together as a family and do this with my brother and his family every year. Sure, we have our occasional tiffs or one of us may get fussy from time-to-time, but we all love each other and support each other in everything we do.
When bad things happen, like when my dad died, everyone pulled together and worked hard to take care of all the stuff that needed to be done. No questions or complaints, just helpfulness, love and support. That’s what family is all about for me. I am very grateful for my terrific peeps.
That’s awesome! I always tell me kids that friends come and go, but family will always be there for you.
